Ecology Across Borders will showcase internationally renowned plenary speakers, diverse thematic topic sessions, and interactive workshops forming the main scientific programme.
In addition our social programme is second to none. There are lots of great opportunities for informal networking including; the welcome mixer on the Monday evening, two poster sessions, the Special Interest Groups social events, and not forgetting our entertaining conference dinner! This year we are also running a number of cultural post conference tours, so you can enhance your stay in Ghent.
Our exhibition area is the hub for our posters, games and our fantastic exhibitors. Each of the partner societies will be present here, so do make sure to say hello. Our last day is Christmas day, so don’t forget to bring your festive outfit – we have seen some great jumpers in previous years!
Once you are registered, we have lots of information to help you plan your stay. The conference website has information on Travelling to Ghent and Accommodation. Please note, December is busy in Ghent, so we recommend you make arrangements soon.
We’re proud of the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at our meetings – bringing people together to forge partnerships and share knowledge – and hope to see you there.
Here’s a video of some of the fun we had at the BES Annual Meeting in Liverpool last year!
