Accommodation
Liverpool is a popular destination city whose hotels fill up quickly, so we highly recommend you secure your accommodation and make your travel plans as early as possible.
We are pleased to be working with Liverpool Convention Bureau, who are providing a free booking service. This is a flexible service that allows you to book accommodation to suit your needs and budget. Special rates have been negotiated at a number of accommodation options close to the conference venue.
Rooms and rates are guaranteed until Monday 1 November, so it is advisable to book accommodation early. If you wish to make a group booking (10+ rooms), or you are experiencing any difficulties, please contact the Liverpool Convention Bureau team at: accommodation@marketingliverpool.co.uk
If your plans change, you can cancel in accordance to the number of rooms booked as outlined below:
- 1 – 2 rooms: You may cancel free of charge until 1 day before arrival. You will be charged the total price of the rooms if you cancel within 24 hours prior to arrival.
- 3 – 5 rooms: You may cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. You will be charged the total price of the rooms if you cancel within the 7 days prior to arrival.
- 6 – 9 rooms: You may cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. You will be charged the total price of the rooms if you cancel within the 14 days prior to arrival.
You are not obliged to book through this booking service. If you would prefer to book directly, we recommend you browse through the many accommodation options available in Liverpool using Booking.com or Hostel World. There are also many Airbnb options within the city.
Travel
Travelling to Liverpool could not be easier, with plenty of options by road, train, or air.
If you are travelling from outside the UK, follow the latest advice on travelling to England during COVID-19 and check that you qualify as fully vaccinated to travel to the UK. You will need to book and pay for a COVID-19 test before you travel, to take within 2 days of arriving in the UK. The country you are travelling from may also need you to take a test before you return after the conference – it is worth checking.
By Air
Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA) features around 75 low-cost flights to domestic, European, and international destinations. A taxi from JLA to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or you can catch the express bus service Route 500 which takes around 25 minutes, dropping you off within a 5-minute walk of ACC Liverpool.
Manchester Airport, just 45 minutes away by car, brings even more domestic and international destinations within reach.

By Train
A number of long-distance rail services operate direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street, with a journey time of just over two hours. ACC Liverpool is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride.
You can also transfer at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10-minute walk) or catch the CityLink bus which runs every 12 minutes as a circular service around the city centre and stops at both Liverpool Lime Street and ACC Liverpool. If travelling from outside Merseyside, you can catch an underground train to James Street station from Lime Street, inclusive in the cost of your ticket.

By Bus & Coach
Two main bus terminals can be found in the city:
- Liverpool ONE Bus Station (8-minute walk to ACC Liverpool)
- Queen Square Bus Station (20-minute walk or 15-minute taxi)
All buses are fully accessible and there is a wide range of tickets available. For further information on the bus network visit Merseytravel
Coach Travel
There are a number of coach services that travel into Liverpool from all around the UK, including National Express, Flixbus and Megabus.

By Ferry
Liverpool is accessible by ferry from a number of cities, including Belfast and Dublin.
- Belfast – Ferries run twice a day with foot-passenger prices for as little as £22 one-way.
- Dublin – Ferries do not currently support foot passengers. Return tickets are around £400.

By Car
To get to ACC Liverpool by car, follow the white on brown tourist route signs for the Waterfront. These signs are visible on the major routes into the city. ACC Liverpool is situated on the Kings Dock directly adjacent to the south side of the Albert Dock. Upon arrival, the Kings Dock entrance is clearly signposted.
From the North
Leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool. Follow to the end of the M58 and then take signs for A59 Liverpool. Continue to follow Liverpool City Centre until picking up signs for the Waterfront.
From the South
Leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool. At the end of the M62, follow signs for Liverpool City Centre along Edge Lane, picking up and following signs for Waterfront.

Pay and display parking is available onsite 24 hours a day from Monday – Sunday.
