Teacher Training Summer School 2024
Applications for the 2024 Teacher Training Programme are now open. If you are a secondary teacher or FE lecturer who teaches ecology as a part of your curriculum, join us in North Wales on the 20th or 21st of July for an ecology-packed programme.
Following the success of our 2023 pilot, we are bringing back the teacher training component of our Undergraduate Summer School. We plan to run a range of sessions and workshops designed to support you with teaching ecology.
This year’s Summer School will be based at the FSC’s Rhyd-y-Creuau centre in North Wales. As an attendee, you will have the opportunity to network with other educators and ecologists, attend workshops and sessions to support teaching practice and knowledge of ecology. You will also receive a bundle of equipment to take back to your school/college. Attendance to the programme is funded by the BES.
Please read the guidance document for further information on eligibility, the application process, and the programme details.
Deadline to apply: 29th of April (12pm GMT).
