Peer Review Week 2016
Monday 19th September marks the start of Peer Review Week 2016. This global event brings together individuals, institutions and organisations to celebrate the vital role that all peer review practices play in the maintenance of scientific excellence in scholarly communications.
Recognition for Review
This year’s theme is ‘Recognition for Review’. Here at the BES we’re really keen to explore different ways to recognize the valuable time and effort put in by the reviewing community. We rely on reviewers for ensuring our work is high-quality across many activities such as reviewing manuscripts, abstract submissions, grant applications and more.
So we have a week of BES activities lined up – make sure you’re following the journal blogs and twitter feeds and join in the conversation using #PeerRevWk16 and #RecognizeReview! There is also the official Peer Review Week Event Calendar with webinars, talks, meet-ups and much more.
And don’t forget about our excellent Guide to Peer Review in Ecology and Evolution – free to download and share!
