Taxonomy in the Digital Age
A meeting at the Linnean Society on 20th September will consider whether the internet is succeeding in making taxonomic information available to users. The meeting, at the Linnean Society’s headquarters in central London, will consider progress to date, bringing together a line-up of international speakers.
Although delegates will need to pay to register for the meeting during the day, an evening lecture, on the use of informatics in related disciplines, will be free to attend. The lecture will consider ‘Paleoclimatic impacts on biodiversity and ecosystems – insights from ecoinformatics‘.
Full details and a registration form are available from the Linnean Society’s website.
